Tour of the family property

About 30 minutes from Villa Lussac lies the Domaine de la Grave, the wine estate owned by the family since 1876.

Here you can explore the Wine and Cooperage Museum, a picnic area and fun tasting activities and oenological discoveries.

Visit Saint-émilion

Saint-Émilion is the ideal destination for an outing just ten or so minutes from Villa Lussac. The mediaeval town, which hosts nearly a million visitors a year, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Bordeaux

Arcachon Bay

Less than an hour and a half from Villa Lussac, Arcachon Bay is easily accessible as a family. Escape for a day and enjoy the sea, coastline and wooded dunes. You can also discover the famous Île aux Oiseaux (“Bird Island”) and huts built on stilts. Arcachon Bay boasts an array of must-see visits, such as the Dune du Pilat, the local villages and oyster ports.

Lascaux cave and the town of Sarlat

The Grotte de Lascaux - Lascaux Cave - is located in the Dordogne, one hour and 20 minutes from Villa Lussac. Come and explore the world’s most-visited cave. Discovered in 1940, Lascaux bears witness to 17,000 years of history and will appeal to anyone intrigued about the past. The visit lasts 90 minutes and is accompanied by a guide. And take the opportunity to get to know Sarlat, the must-see town in Périgord Noir, famed (among other things) for its architectural riches and wonderful foie gras.
